NFEP Release Film Installation Guidelines:
- Remove the Resin Vat:
- Power off the printer and detach the resin vat carefully.
- Disassemble the Vat Frame:
- Use a screwdriver to unscrew and separate the frame that holds the release film.
- Remove the Old Film:
- Gently peel away the old film, cleaning any resin residue from the frame using isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.
- Install the PFA (nFEP) Film:
- Position the new film over the vat frame and align it evenly. The film should be taut without wrinkles.
- Secure it by screwing the frame back in place, tightening the screws evenly in a crisscross pattern to maintain tension.
- Trim Excess Film:
- Use scissors or a utility knife to remove any film overhanging the edges.
- Reassemble and Test:
- Reattach the vat to the printer and ensure it is securely in place. Test with a small amount of resin to confirm proper installation.
NFEP Release Film Care Instructions:
- After each print, clean the film gently with isopropyl alcohol and a soft cloth.
- Avoid using sharp tools or excessive force on the film to prevent scratches or damage.
- Replace the film if it becomes cloudy, scratched, or loses its non-stick properties.
